Trusted digital signatures for Nepal

Nepal's all-in-one digital signature platform.

Sign, seal and verify documents on any device — desktop, mobile or through your own systems. Built on the same EU DSS and ETSI standards used by Europe's national e-signing stacks, and made for recognition under the Electronic Transactions Act, 2063.

Comparison reflects publicly documented capabilities and typical deployments as of 2026. Estonia's DigiDoc is the gold-standard national stack iSigner is engineered to match; endesive is an excellent open-source library — a building block rather than a turnkey platform; emSigner is a commercial product from eMudhra; DSigner is the legacy Windows client iSigner replaces. “Partial / limited” denotes capability that depends on edition, add-ons, or custom integration.

How it works

Secure by design — only the hash leaves your server.

iSigner uses a deferred-signing model: the document stays server-side and only its hash travels to the signer's token or phone.

1

Prepare

The server computes the document hash and builds the signature placeholder — the file is never uploaded to the signer's device.

2

Sign

The signer approves with a USB token, Mobile-ID or biometric. The private key stays on the device; only the signature returns.

3

Seal & verify

iSigner embeds the signature, adds a trusted timestamp and revocation data, logs it to a transparency log, and issues a QR to verify.

🔒 Privacy by design: in the deferred-signing model only the document hash leaves your server — a smaller attack surface, better confidentiality and clean audit trails than tools that upload the whole document to the signer's browser.
For developers

Add signing with a few API calls.

A clean REST API, an OpenAPI 3.1 spec, signed webhooks and official SDKs. Prepare a signature, sign with any device channel, then embed and verify.
